Chapter 9
Islam's main homeland is in Arabia between the Byzantine empire and the Sassanid Empire. The capital was Mecca which serves as the main capital for Islam. Muhammad was their person who spread Islam. Muhammad was known fro the spread of Islam and the creator of the Quaran, which had the rules and teachings of the Islamic faith. There are five Pillars in the Islamic faith that the people abide by. Islam became the largest religion and challenged Christianity.
